The famous Swiss watchmaker has created new models to add to its Longines PrimaLuna collection that combine the radiance of steel with the warmth of rose gold. Varied, harmonious and elegant, the Longines PrimaLuna collection is a tribute to the modern woman. Longines has now added a model in rose gold and steel where the alluring sparkle of the diamonds that cover the dial light up the night with a thousand stars. It has called this new watch Longines PrimaLuna Thousand and One Nights.
Technical Data
The Longines PrimaLuna Thousand and One Nights is a quartz watch (calibre L250), with a shower of diamonds whose brilliance sets alight the depths of darkness. Its dial is covered with 314 Top Wesselton VVS diamonds (0.376 carats) and it also features a circular case in steel and rose gold set with 44 Top Wesselton VVS diamonds (0.299 carats). This model shows the hours, minutes and seconds. Fitted on a bracelet of steel and rose gold and featuring rose hands, the Longines PrimaLuna Thousand. Water-resistant to 30m.

Vacheron Constantin Hosted the Official Post Premiere Event for Wall Street
Money Never Sleeps at the Cannes Film Festival 2010

(Cannes, France) - Vacheron Constantin, the oldest Swiss watchmaker in continuous activity, partnered with Twentieth Century Fox to sponsor the exclusive after-party for the Premiere of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps at the 62nd annual Cannes Film Festival.
Joining Vacheron Constantin were the film’s stars, Michael Douglas, Josh Brolin, Shia LaBeouf, Carey Mulligan and Frank Langella as well as the famed director Oliver Stone. Vacheron Constantin is also featured in the film, as Josh Brolin’s character, Bretton James, wears the exceptional “American 1921†timepiece from the brand’s collection, Les Historiques.
The event, which took place immediately following the premiere, was held at the magical Château des Fayères, a beautiful estate located in the rolling hills just outside of the city of Cannes. The guests enjoyed a gorgeous evening, gathering around the estate’s scintillating outdoor pool and dining on a provençal buffet of fresh seafood and grilled meats. The film’s star-studded cast shined as they were welcomed by Vacheron Constantin for the magnificent soiree. Along with the cast guests mingled with high-profile crowd of attendees including CEO of Google Eric Schimdt, Ellen Berkin, Josh Brolin’s spouse Diane Lane, Bryan Lourd, Richard Lovett, supermodel Karolina Kurkova, and Mansour Ojeih.Â
Fitting in perfectly with the luxurious surroundings, beautiful Vacheron Constantin timepieces were on display within the estate. Guests were drawn to the magnificent pieces from the brand’s Patrimony Contemporary and Traditional Collections. The timepiece that Mr. Brolin’s character donned in the film, Les Historiques American 1921, offered not only a glimpse into the making of the film but also the great partnership of Vacheron Constantin and Fox Studios.

With the goal of creating a series of iconic images of Sienna in Possession, Piaget assembled an A-list team of fashion industry professionals for a major photo shoot at Hudson Studios in New York. The firm tapped legendary photographer, Raymond Meier, who is recognized as one of the world’s finest when it comes to shooting both fashion and jewelry. Having worked with Meier on many projects, Elissa Santisi, the renowned stylist and regular contributor to Vogue, was a natural choice to style the
shoot. For makeup, Piaget turned to Gucci Westman, a favorite of both celebrities and fashion insiders.
Noted hair stylist, Esther Langham, and master manicurist, Jin Soon, rounded out the team. The first image from the shoot that will be released presents a confident, strong, yet totally feminine portrait of Sienna. She wears sleek, slim black leather pants and a silky, sleeveless white top, accented with multiple Possession chains, bracelets and rings—all in yellow gold—to give a modern, casual, chic look. Two additional images, featuring different fashion looks and accompanying Possession jewelry will be released in the coming months.
In addition to the incredible collection of images, Piaget has also created a “making-of†video. It offers exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from the photo shoot, along with interviews of the team and Sienna herself. The video will be available on Piaget’s web site, Facebook site and on youtube.com on May 17th.
