The Briling Naval Centennial Limited Edition Airwolf

Swiss watchmaker brand Britling is releasing a special timepiece, the Naval Centennial Limited Edition Airwolf, as part of their of year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of naval aviation.
The first timepiece of this new series has been on a journey across the globe and into space that will conclude with an auction to benefit the National Flight Academy. The mission of the academy is to inspire students in science, technology, engineering and math through aviation.
This limited edition Airwolf was unveiled in January 2011 at the grand opening of Britling’s flagship boutique in Manhattan. The commemorative watch features functions utilized by pilots such as a 1/100th of a second chronograph with slip times, alarm, countdown, 2nd timezone with independent alarm, UTC and a perpetual calendar.
Five hundred pieces were produced, with 50 given to the 100th Anniversary of Naval Aviation Foundation, of which Breitling is a Silver National Sponsor. For each additional watch sold, $100 will be donated back to the Foundation.
