Hublot presents one-of-a-kind timepiece to Mariano Rivera

The Aero Bang Steel

Hublot presented yet another special edition watch, this time to celebrate and honor Yankee baseball player Mariano Rivera’s 602nd career save. The presentation took place on Sunday, September 26th at Yankee stadium, where the Swiss luxury watch Hublot, and Roberto Chiappelloni of Manfredi Jewels presented Mariano Rivera with a one of a kind timepiece of its Aero Bang Steel.

This one of a kind timepiece, features an insert drawing on the backcase  representing the player and etching the lines "602 Career Saves" and his new title as "All-time Saves Leader" in honor of his accomplishment. The Aero Bang Steel features a steel case and bezel with black skeleton dial and black rubber strap. The timepiece houses a self-winding chronograph movement.




At a packed Yankee Stadium, Mr Rivera received this unique timepiece from the hands if Roberto Chiappelloni, who declared that the presentation was not only to congratulate Mariano Rivera on setting an all-time saves record, but also for the extraordinary work he does for charity.

Beatrice De Quervain, Hublot North America President has also declared that Mariano represents everything Hublot admires and seeks to embody in its timepieces: a symbol of perseverance, hard work, and dedication. The new Aero Bang one-of-a-kind watch is the second presentation Hublot has made to a Yankee player. The first was awarded to Alex Rodriguez in honor of his 600th Home Run in 2010.
