Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique opening in St. Petersburg
Reverso à Eclipses homage to Kazimir Malevich
Jaeger-LeCoultre inaugurated a brand new Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique in the very heart of St. Petersburg at Bolshaya Konyushennaya Street. To celebrate the occasion Jaeger-LeCoultre presented a limited edition Reverso designed as homage to famous Russian painter Kazimir Malevich.
On the 80th year anniversary of the iconic Reverso watch, the Reverso à Eclipses homage to Kazimir Malevich was created with the assistance of the State Russian Museum of St. Petersburg as a limited edition of 5 pieces. This reversible watch in pink gold case equipped with in-house Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 849 revives one of the rarest fine art traditions, the painting on enamel, which demands special virtuosity and patience.
Kazimir Severinovich Malevich (1878 - 1935) was a painter famous for his works in genres of avantgarde, impressionism, futurism, and cubism. In the spring of 1915 he pioneered abstract geometric art, which was soon known as “suprematism”. This limited edition of the Reverso, of only five pieces made, hides a refined miniature work of art – the painting “Peasant Woman” by Kazimir Malevich, which can be enjoyed opening of the shutters of the dial.
As the brand keep growing in Russian, Wolfgang Braun, Jaeger-LeCoultre Director in Russia and CIS countries affirms his confidence on the success of the Boutique in St Petersburg turning into real club of experts and connoisseurs of the subtle art of watchmaking who live in the Russia’s Northern capital.

Jaeger-LeCoultre at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival
Saif Ali Khan to receive the Actor Award
As part of the continuous support to the arts and the film industry in particular, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented the inaugural Glory to the Actor Award at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival, after recently having signed a three year partnership to sponsor the event.
The Abu Dhabi Film Festival (ADFF) is one of the largest and most influential international film festivals in the Middle East. Presented each October by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, the event is committed to curating exceptional programs to engage and educate the local community, inspire filmmakers and nurture the growth of the regional film industry.
On the fifth edition of the ADFF that runs from 13th October to 22nd October, Jaeger-LeCoultre presented actor Saif Ali Khan, in recognition of his achievements as an actor/producer and his efforts in the developments of the Bollywood film industry, with the Glory to the Actor Award. Watch aficionado Saif - son of acclaimed Bollywood actress, Sharmila Tagore, and late India cricket captain, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi - wears an ode to his family, a personalised edition of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso Grand Taille with the Pataudi family crest engraved on the reverse of the case.
Initially an award dedicated to filmmakers at the Venice Film Festival, Jaeger-LeCoultre takes great pride in extending the Glory Award category at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival in 2011 and its feature on the calendar of prestigious film festivals around the world. The Glory Award category honours and supports the film industry in recognition of both upcoming and confirmed actors, directors and producers.

Jaeger-LeCoultre to support Reverso ambassador Eduardo Novillo Astrada
The Polo Triple Crown Tournament in Argentina
On the year of the 80th anniversary of the legendary collection Reverso, Jaeger-LeCoultre will pay tribute to its relationship with the world of polo and will support Eduardo Novillo Astrada and the La Aguada team at the Triple Crown Tournament, one of the most awaited polo events of the year.
The Reverso watch has a long tradition and is now a reference in the world of polo, being the first watch to be dedicated to a hobby, with all its elegance and efficiency. The major polo championship in Argentina will be taking place before the end of the year and the famous La Aguada Polo Team will be officially supported by Jaeger-LeCoultre as it became the team’s official sponsor.
Along with saluting its 80th anniversary by introducing new Reversos, the Manufacture Jaeger-LeCoultre supports the most important event in the polo world: the Argentinian “Triple Crown”. The Triple Crown Tournament includes three championships: the Tortugas Open, Hurlingham Open, and Palermo Open, measuring the world’s best polo players. Eduardo Novillo Astrada, Jaeger-LeCoultre global ambassador since 2006, and his team are among the selected favourites to be crowned winners of the champinship.
La Aguada team will have to work hard to proclaim themselves once again winners of “The Triplw Crown”. The team led by the Novillo Astrada brothers won the triple crown in 2003, after winning the Tortugas Open, Hurlingham Open, and Palermo Open in the same season. They became the fourth team in polo history to win the three tournaments in one season. This year they will be officially sponsored by Jaeger-LeCoultre and Standard Bank.

Diane Kruger has been Jaeger-LeCoultre’s ambassadors for three years, and now she is now the new face of the new Grande Reverso Ultra Thin. In Diane, Jaeger has found its muse and inspiration. Place Vendôme, at The Ritz Hotel next to Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique, the artistic talent of Marcel Hartmann found its expression at this prestigious location chosen for the photo shoot presenting the Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin. 
This unique reversible timepiece allows personalized engraving, and its presented in an ergonomic and yet feminine style. the Ultra Thin version is only 7.2 mm thick and its refined design is enhanced by a double row of diamonds on the front.
