Olympics at the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016

After more than a century on the sidelines, golf will return to the Olympics at the Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 that’s why Omega known for its role as Official Olympic Timekeeper and supporter of international golf (in 2007 became the title sponsor of the World Cup of Golf) has created a TV spot to welcome the sport back to the Olympics featuring the Spanish golfer and Omega Brand Ambassador Sergio Garcia. The commercial, was recorded at different locations around the world.
This time we can see Sergio teeing off from the golf course in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. The ball’s progress is followed across the globe as observers look up to see it flying over their heads as it finally reaches South America and lands on a green in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where it roles into the cup.
Sergio García Fernández is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on both the United States PGA Tour and the European Tour. He has 19 Tour wins and reached a career high ranking of two after winning the HSBC Champions tournament in November 2008.
