The first Omega Store in South America opened in Buenos Aires

Cindy Crawford officiated the inauguration

Omega Store in Buenos Aires

The world-known model Cindy Crawford cut the ribbon at the official inauguration ceremony of the first Omega exclusive store to be opened in South America. The store is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Accompanied by Omega’s President Stephen Urquhart, Cindy Crawford, who has been an Omega Ambassador since 1995, cut the inaugural ribbon and signed the case of an Omega Constellation watch. The supermodel then posed for a photo session and met with national and international media. This inauguration is consistent with the steady expansion and positioning of the Swiss luxury brand in Argentina.

The Omega store will be located in Patio Bullrich, a boutique clearly aligned with global corporate guidelines for Omega stores. The store has been conceived around the theme of four key elements: the sun, water, earth and, of course, time. The sun is represented by the brilliant lighting illuminating the products in the show window. Vertical tracks express rainfall and the rain, in turn, symbolizes time which is never still and which never returns in exactly the same form. Finally, below the displays, silvered glass suggests an exposed cross section of the earth which reveals history and time.

Delivering the best attention to all visitors, upon entering the store, you will be warmly greeted by a staff whose members can provide expert advice and consultation on the years of Omega’s watchmaking tradition. Paying attention to the very last detail, Omega’s products are presented in display cases and wall cabinets which are finished with “champagne gold” glass upon which Omega’s logos and markings have been applied with an acid-etching technique.
