The Australian Honda rider received his pole setting Tissot T- Touch Expert watch from Holger Bucher, the top Tissot Retailer in the area round the Sachsenring and also a former motorcycle racer. He is joined on the front row of the grid for the 30 lap race by his team-mate and four times Sachsenring winner Dani Pedrosa who also crashed in the windy conditions on Friday morning. Completing the front row is World Champion Jorge Lorenzo riding the Yamaha. The Spanaird has never won at the Sachsenring but has finished second in the MotoGP race in the last two years. Tissot Ambassador Nicky Hayden was the top Ducati rider in eighth place with his team-mate Valentino Rossi down in 16th.

The Spanish teenager has won the last two races and received his Tissot T Race watch before chasing his fourth win of the season to close down Stefan Bradl's 52 point lead in the Championship. Bradl qualified in second place with Aleix Espargaro completing the front row. It was a tough session for Tissot Ambassadors Bradley Smith and Tom Luthi. Despite a crash at the finish Smith qualified on the third row ninth fastest with Luthi three places behind.

In its new global campaign, Tissot rewrites the rules of watch advertising by using the claim "In touch with your time" where, brand ambassadors like Danica Patrick, brand ambassadors present luxury as being accessible rather than exclusive. This striking black and white print campaign originates from the lens of the Los Angeles based art and fashion photographer Jeff Burton. The refreshing approach of the resulting campaign provides further visible proof of the established Tissot signature: "Innovators by tradition".
The campaign's approach focuses on the idea of substance, the unquestionable quality attached to traditional Swiss craftsmanship and style, a truly appealing watch design.
The new global Tissot campaign, launched in March 2010, captures real moments in the lives of ambassadors, Danica Patrick, IndyCar® and Nascar® driver, Deepika Padukone, actress, Barbie Xu, actress and model, Michael Owen, European Footballer of the year 2002, Nicky Hayden, 2006 MotoGP world Champion, Zhong Man 2008 Olympic sabre Champion and Huang Xiaoming, actor. Reality seamlessly merges with glamour, a speciality of Jeff Burton's work.
