Baume & Mercier NEW AMBASSADOR: Gwyneth Paltrow!

New Linea and Capeland Collections

Because she is a genuine person, on top of being a multitalented artist, Gwyneth Paltrow has become the new ambassador of the Swiss Maison d’Horlogerie.

On January 18th 2011, she attended as Special Guest the spectacular event organized by the Brand on the occasion of the SIHH: a seaside garden party in the Hamptons … a place with which the Oscar-winning actress is very familiar.

She owns a house there and felt “at home” at the event organized by Baume & Mercier in order to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in the Brand’s history.

Gwyneth Paltrow explained that she loves to spend time on this place between earth and sea. There, she enjoys precious moments with her loved ones, playing, relaxing… and cooking seafood or grilling in her garden filled with kids and friends.

“The motto of Baume & Mercier, ‘Life is about moments’, very much represents my personal philosophy of life. That’s why I said yes/responded positively when the Brand suggested I represent it”, she explains.

The actress visited the Baume & Mercier booth at the SIHH in the afternoon on January 17th and was shown the new Linea and Capeland collections and the new Brand universe by CEO Alain Zimmermann.

In the evening, she appeared very relaxed, elegant, and approachable at the event, posing with enthusiastic admirers, including some lucky Fans of the Baume & Mercier Facebook community.
