New Chopard Happy Sport watch

The Hour Glass Valentine’s Day limited edition



Chopard, the renowned Swiss watch and jewellery maison, teams up again with The Hour Glass to create a dazzling, limited edition of its iconic Happy Sport Valentine’s Day timepiece.

Following last year’s success with the limited edition Chopard Happy Sport watch in black ceramic with the signature mobile diamonds for Valentine’s Day, Chopard is pleased to present the fifth instalment of another limited edition - Chopard Happy Sport Pink Amour in a stainless steel oval casing with fuchsia pink crocodile leather strap and a delicate free-moving heart.

The Happy Sport Pink Amour in stainless steel with a mobile diamond encased within a free moving white gold heart; limited to only 150 stainless steel pieces and 10 diamond bezel pieces, is sure to mesmerise even Cupid himself. This version is produced especially for Valentine’s Day 2012 and available exclusively at The Hour Glass and Chopard boutiques.

Chopard Happy Sport Pink Amour watch will be released as a limited edition of 150 stainless steel pieces (ref SGD6,730) and a limited edition of 10 diamond bezel pieces (ref SGD29,890), that will be only available at Chopard Boutiques.

L.U.C. Triple Certification Tourbillon for Chopard

Most prestigious certifications in Swiss watchmaking



The Chopard L.U.C Triple Certification Tourbillon has received the three most prestigious certifications in Swiss watchmaking, becoming the first watch to do so.

This stunning timepiece has been awarded the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, or COSC) certificate, the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark, and the Fleurier Quality Foundation label. They provide assurance of superior quality, precision and reliability never before see.

The COSC is the only neutral body able to grant the title of ‘chronometer.’ To earn certification, a movement must be built with utmost care and precision, as well as endure 15 days of tests conducted in five different positions and at three different temperatures.

The historic Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark requires strict compliance with 12 exacting criteria, ranging from the integrity of the materials, the craftsmanship of components, as well as movement construction and assembly.

And finally, the Fleurier Quality Foundation certification, the most difficult to obtain, subjects the timepiece to the unparalleled Chronofiable testing procedure, as it evaluates long-term resilience by simulating six-months wear through strains such as impact, wrist movement, and variations in humidity.

Chopard & Paul Miller Racing present new timepiece

The Paul Miller Racing Limited Edition Mille Miglia GTXL




Chopard, sponsor of Paul miller Racing in the American Le Mans Series, continues to support the partnership with the introduction of the Paul Miller Racing Limited Edition Mille Miglia GTXL. 

The limited edition timepiece will be available at select Paul Miller dealership and the Chopard Boutique in New York City. This new milestone in the Mille Miglia collection are now available in leather or rubber strap set in 18K rose gold or stainless steel. The stainless steel edition will be limited to 100 pieces and the rose gold edition will be limited to 25 pieces. 

Marc Hruschka, Chopard USA President & CEO said that this partnership has reinforced Chopard's long standing affiliation with cars and car racing and that Chopard is pleased to join forces with the Miller family. They have a strong passion for the sport that is shared with the Scheufele family.

Chopard’s festive collection exhibited in Italy

The Red Carpet Collection in Rome




A few weeks ago, the Red Carpet Collection was exhibited at Chopard’s boutique in Roma. The ambiance recreated that of a movie premiere: windows were draped in red cinema curtains and the creations were displayed throughout the store.

The mythic Red Carpet evokes grand events, to be seized while they happen as they are not going to last. Capturing the essence of those moments that light the sparkle in one’s eyes, the Red Carpet Collection stars exquisite Haute Joaillerie pieces, inspired by the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival.

The red carpet led guests from the Boutique to the Hotel de Russie, where the dinner took place in a marvellous garden. The festive shoes created by Zanotti in collaboration with Chopard, unveiled on the red carpet in Cannes last May, were displayed in the garden, as if waiting for the next Cinderella. To top it all, the beautiful evening light, and the jewels reflecting it, created special effects as the guests walked from the hotel to the boutique.

Chopard had been a partner of the Cannes International Film Festival since 1998 and has designed and manufactured the sought-after Palme d’Or since then.
