Selection of the day: Frank Muller ‘‘Crazy Hours Totally Switzerland’

Only Watch 2011

Franck Muller

We have presented many of the one-of-a-kind timepieces auctioned last weekend at the Only Watch 2011 Charity Auction held in Monaco, hosted by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. The incredible wristwatch we are featuring today is the contribution of Frank Muller, who is well known by his out-of-the-box contemporary designs. The “Crazy Hours” watch renders tribute to its name and it is now in the lucky hands of one “crazy” bidder sold at €44,000.

When we look for a Franck Muller timepiece, we are already expecting a concept somewhat out of the ordinary, well this time, we are getting that and much more. Designed in a white gold case and with a translucent lacquered red dial, and a hand-sewn red alligator strap; the striking feature of this exclusive timepiece is its hour markers, which are randomly place around the dial.

So if you are friends with the “unconventional” and feel like going crazy about timekeeping, this Crazy Hours totally Switzerland is what you are looking for, well, that is if you can find the happy collector and outbid the 44 grand paid for it. Anyways, we know it is worth it.
