Second release of the TAG Heuer Carrera Mikrograph

Limited Edition in Anthracite

After the success of the TAG Heuer Carrera Mikrograph presented earlier this year with a limited edition of only 150 pieces, TAG decided to unveil yet another version of this limited edition timepiece, an additional 150 pieces of the Carrera Mikrograph, but this time in Anthracite rather than Brown.

As the demand for the TAG Heuer Carrera Mikrograph grew in such a great and unexpectedly manner, the brand decided to release another limited edition of the Mikrograph. For those of you who did not get a chance to get inside the new this incredible timepiece, the heart of the Carrera Mikrograph is TAG Heuer’s revolutionary Mikrograph movement, which in an integrated in-house Chronograph movement capable of 1/100th second accuracy. What is unique about the movement is that it uses two assortments- one for the watch and a second for the Chronograph.

While the technology of the movement is high-tech, the design of the Carrera Mikrograph pays homage to the original Heuer Mikrograph stop-watch of 1916- it’s an attractive combination of the old and the new.

This second Carrera Mikrograph is also a Limited Edition of 150, with the only real change being that the brown inner-dial and leather strap are replaced by Anthracite (a slate grey). The retail price in Switzerland will be CHF 50,000, just like the first version, and it will be available in the next few weeks.
