A new limited edition TAG Heuer Carrera Tachymeter Chronograph

Only 200 pieces of the The "India Racing"

TAG Heuer

Tag Heuer lanched a very special India Racing Edition watch this October 2011 honoring its longstanding relationship with motor racing with its "Mastering Speed for 150 years", a perfect offering for Formula 1 and Tag Heuer fans alike.

The TAG Heuer Carrera Tachymeter Chronograph has been chosen for this special edition. The Carrera Series draws its name from the most prestigious and dangerous endurance race of its day. The special 200 pieces of the India Racing limited edition have been adorned with the logo of 'Mastering Speed for 150 Years' with striking India colors – Saffron and Green, which has been placed on the dial and backcase of the watch.

Following the line of design of the India Racing motif, the chronograph hand along with the thread stitching on the leather strap is in India saffron colors, providing a fresh, enthusiastic appeal. The TAG Heuer Carrera Tachymeter Chronograph India Racing Limited Edition is thus a perfect example of the the soul of TAG Heuer: innovation, prestige, performance and precision.

For more than a century, TAG Heuer has built its reputation on the core values of motor sports and GT cars: advanced design & materials, high-technology & high-performance movements, ultimate precision, and absolute reliability. This deep rooted motor racing heritage dates back to 1963 when Jack W. Heuer, the son of Charles-Edouard Heuer, started work on a new chronograph specifically designed for drivers and motor-racing enthusiasts.
