Open to professionals in the yachting and luxury industries, members of the media and the public, the 21st Monaco Yacht Show will be opened from Wednesday 21 to Saturday 24 September 2011. But it is not all about Yatchs as Swiss manufacturer Ulysse Nardin, main sponsor of the event, will reveal a limited-edition Monaco 2011 Executive Dual Time.
Conquering the oceans with its precision instruments for 165 years, Ulysse Nardin continues its journey of innovation, guiding yachtsmen on the water and into the future with its state-of-the-art mechanical timepieces. This week a Limited Edition of 100 pieces will be presented at the Principality of Monaco, engineered with the Ulysse Nardin patented Dual Time system and conveying a modern aesthetic with classically refined characteristics.
Displaying a bold blue dial, bezel and strap mirror over its stainless steel case, this timepiece evokes the essence of a yacht cutting through the water. With oversized Roman numerals, three-dimensional hands and a boldly sized date, it is the perfect companion for the yachtsman. Its sleek bezel and plus and minus pushers at the eight and ten o’clock position, are crafted in ceramic, and from underneath its protective sapphire-crystal cover, the self-winding movement mechanism can be seen.

Ulysse-Nardin Genghis Khan Complication
The Genghis Khan will be produced for the next 6-8 years in a limited edition.
The visible one minute Tourbillon is integrated into the Aventurine dial. Opaque or translucent, containing crystals that were engendered by fire in molten glass, Aventurine scintillates, subtly flecked with all possible shades of red, yellow and grey. Forged by human hands, often compared to the philosopher"s stone, Aventurine contains the secrets of the master jeweller’s alchemy.
This last edition limited Ulysse-Nardin Genghis Khan minute repeater in platinum features a 42mm case, Aventurine dial, and a crocodile strap with deployment buckle. The Ulysse Nardin Genghis Khan minute repeater watch also features a manually wound tourbillon movement with a Westminster chime carillon minute repeater and animated battle scene figures. This is the last limited edition 30 piece series. The previous two were in rose and white gold.
The Genghis Khan will be produced over the next 6-8 years in a limited edition of 30 pieces each in white and pink gold 18 ct.

Ulysse Nardin has produced a new and once more unique Limited Edition timepiece: The Imperial St. Petersburg, which belongs to the Ulysse Nardin Marine Collection. This precious timepiece features a genuine hand-crafted oven-cured enamel dial with an applied gold double-headed Eagle (emblematic of St. Petersburg).
The Maxi Marine Chronometer is available in a Limited Edition of 30 pieces in platinum. The exhibition case back reveals the spectacular movement equipped with a 22 ct gold rotor.
It is officially certified self-winding movement (C.O.S.C) features the legendary oversized small seconds register and a large date display at 6 o’clock. According to its elegant 43 mm case, it is individually numbered and equipped with a screw-crown and sapphire crystals. It is also water-resistant to 100 meters.
The Imperial St. Petersburg is presented in an elaborate multi-layer white translucent enamel Egg of the Tsars decorated with 4.25 carats of diamonds. The diamonds have been employed in recreating legendary symbols of St. Petersburg. The Admiralty Spire, the Rostral Columns, the Arch of the General Staff Building and the famous drawbridges that open at night to allow for passage of large vessels can be seen picked-out in diamonds. Ulysse Nardin’s anchor serves to link the egg to the white marble base.
Both the Imperial St. Petersburg and its accompanying Egg of the Tsars are destined to become highly sought-after by collectors.
