First look: TAG Heuer Steve McQueen Calibre 11

Two new watches exclusive for TAG Heuer Boutiques




TAG Heuer has recently announced two new models for its Steve McQueen Calibre 11 collection. These two new editions have been designed in blue and will take the name of one of TAG Heuer’s most famous ambassador, Steve McQueen.

TAG Heuer has gone one step beyond when presenting these watches, as not only they are two new exclusive additions to the Tag Heuer Monaco collection, but also, these newly released timepiece will only be available at the Tag Heuer exclusive Boutiques. Since the Monaco collection was presented in 1997, Steve McQueen has been the main face of the collection, wearing the the Blue with white sub-dials Heuer 1133B Monaco in the movie Le Mans.

The two new watches presented are the Monaco Twenty Four McQueen and the Monaco Steve McQueen Calibre 11. The Twenty Four McQueen Edition features the standard 40.5 mm case with Blue “shock absorbers” replacing the usual orange one and the designed is completed with an alligator blue strap. The Calibre 11 Edition has been design Monaco Edition, presented earlier this year.

As mentioned above, these two new timepiece by TAG Heuer will only be available at the exclusive Boutiques and there will be a number of “special edition” watches to be realesed in the upcoming weeks. In Switzerland, the Monaco 24 McQueen will cost around CHF 13,200, while the Calibre 11 model will be priced at around CHF7,700.
